This design illustrates the beauty of using the same timber in two different finishes.

This garden room has used Accoya Light Brush – Shizen and Anthracite – Gen No to complement and contrast in its green surroundings.

Inspired by the traditional Japanese preservation technique yakisugi, Exterior Solutions Ltd mastered the art of controlled timber burning. We trialled the process on a range of timbers, investigating a variety of finishes, before compiling our final product range. We named our range Shou Sugi Ban®.
